The Jewish Quarter, located in a very small area between Old Town and the Vltava River, has existed since the 13th century when Jews from all over the city were ordered to abandon their homes and come to live in this one specific district. Although the area has undergone considerable changes over the centuries, it remains the best preserved and largest Jewish quarter in Europe.
On this walking tour we will take you on a journey through the whole of Jewish history in Prague, visiting the most notable of the historical sights in the quarter, including the remarkable Old Jewish Cemetery and The Old-New synagogue, the oldest standing of its kind in Europe, before finishing at the truly exceptional Old Town Square.
The price includes entrances to all of the places listed above.
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel at the start of the tour and return you there at the end.
