The Jewish Quarter, located in a very small area between Old Town and the Vltava River, has existed since the 13th century when Jews from all over the city were ordered to abandon their homes and come to live in this one specific district. Although the area has undergone considerable changes over the centuries, it remains the best preserved and largest Jewish quarter in Europe.
On this walking tour we will visit the most notable of the historical sights in the Jewish quarter, including the remarkable Old Jewish Cemetery and The Old-New synagogue, the oldest standing of its kind in Europe, before finishing at the truly exceptional Old Town Square.
The price does not include entrance fees.
