BOOKING CONDITIONS
The following booking conditions, together with all information relating to your reservation contained on this website, form the basis of your contract with Prague Saints. Please read them carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations.
CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT
Payment can be made by three methods: online, by credit card or in cash.
HOTELS
On all regular hotel bookings we charge a deposit equivalent to one night’s stay at time of booking. We will then charge you the remainder on your arrival. You also have the option to pay in full for the hotel at the time of booking.
APARTMENTS
For all apartment bookings we ask for your credit card details only as a guarantee. The full amount should be paid on arrival either in cash or by credit card. For certain apartments you also have the option to pay in full amount at the time of booking.
TOURS / TRANSFERS
The full cost of transfers and tours can be paid on arrival.
NON-REFUNDABLE RATES
If you have booked a ‘non-refundable’ rate then the whole amount will be charged at the time of booking and you will not be entitled to any reimbursement in the event of cancellation or no show.
EXCHANGE RATES
We will use the following exchange rates with all non-online credit card payments: 1 Euro = 26.5 Czech crowns, 1 USD = 20 Czech crowns, 1 pound sterling = 31.5 Czech crowns. You should be aware that your payment is likely to be subject to additional charges by your own bank, either in the form of a service charge or higher exchange rates.
Our prices are based on known costs and projections on December 1st 2011.
CANCELLATION
All cancellations must be sent in writing, the cancellation date will be set as the date when Prague Saints receives the cancellation details. Cancellations are not valid without a confirmation from Prague Saints.
We will apply the following penalties in the event of cancellation:
Accommodation:
- If you do not show up at the hotel/apartment and you have not cancelled your reservation in our office we will charge you the full amount.
- If you cancel within 48 hours of your planned arrival date we will charge you for one night.
- We will not charge for cancellations made 48 hours before the booking.
Please note that more stringent cancellation conditions apply to bookings made during bank holidays and also for some hotel options. In these cases we will advise you at the time of booking.
The cancellation fee will be debited automatically through your credit card.
In the event that the paid service is not provided the whole amount will be returned to the customer.
COMPLAINTS AND REFUNDS
If you have any problem with the accommodation or any other service we have arranged, please inform us immediately. All complaints must be registered in Prague during the client’s visit. This is the only way that we can resolve the situation as soon as possible. Unfortunately, until we know about a problem or complaint, we cannot assist. We do not accept any liability for complaints made after a client’s departure.
We reserve the right to change the apartment for an equivalent or better unit.
LIABILITY
We promise to make sure that the service we agreed to provide is fulfilled with reasonable skill and care. We will accept responsibility if any failure or mistake in your travel arrangements is caused by our employees or our travel consultants. However, in cases where we are solely the intermediary between clients and service suppliers, we will not take responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or any other claim when the fault is clearly caused by the service suppliers (for example hotel or apartment owner, driver, guide etc). We cannot be held responsible for bad weather, illness, changes in travel plans or travel delays.
